Finding Lexile Level in Britannica School

Sunday, November 24, 2013

A Lexile level is one way to quantitatively decide the difficulty of a book. A Lexile text measure is based on the semantic and syntactic elements of a text and is a valuable piece of information about either an individual's reading ability or the difficulty of a text. Help you and your students find articles at the appropriate level of difficulty with Britannica School.

Locate the Lexile level of any Elementary or Middle school article on Britannica School by clicking the Teacher tab. The below images highlight where you can find the Teacher tab.
