TeachingBooks.net Refreshed & Redesigned

Thursday, September 17, 2015

TeachingBooks.net has just relaunched! TeachingBooks.net equitably gives all readers insights and opportunities that deepen their understanding and joy of the books they read. Search or browse this library of materials about books and powerful resources to support the books you're already reading and teaching.

Now from the TeachingBooks.net homepage, you can more easily browse resources that:

  • Align to what you're reading
  • Reinforce cultural authenticity
  • Learn directly from authors
  • Manage reading instruction

Another feature of the redesign is the ability for school districts to create institutional book lists. If your school is using a reading program with a trade book component, TeachingBooks can easily add a powerful dimension to these books your students are already reading. On "Resources for My Books," scroll down to My Reading Programs and fill out this form to have TeachingBooks.net align their library of resources to your district's specific reading program.

Once you've found resources, share resources through email, text, or a QR code bookmark or flier

TeachingBooks.net also provides professional development! Learn more about their offerings by going to TeachingBooks.net/webinars or Contact Us for more information.

Start enjoying fun and meaningful resources that enliven your literacy program with TeachingBooks.net
