LearningExpress Library Highlight Series: College Students

LearningExpress Library is a collection of web-based test preparation tools and skill-building materials. LearningExpress Library has eight centers, four of which are specifically for students and educators. Over the next week, Bulletin will highlight unique content of these four centers: College Admissions Test Preparation, College Students, Grades 4-8 Educator Resources, and High School Students.

LearningExpress Library’s College Students provides resources to help college students achieve their undergraduate goals and prepare for future success in math, reading, grammar, writing, and science. In addition, students of higher education can prepare for graduate school admissions, college placement, and College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) exams.

Math Skills Review

Prepare for College Placement Exams

Prepare for ACCUPLACER® exams with practice tests on reading, writing, arithmetic, quantitative reasoning, algebra, and statistics (QAS), advanced algebra and function (AAF), and WritePlacer practice essays. ACCUPLACER® is a suite of computerized tests that help determine your knowledge in math, reading and writing as you prepare to enter college-level courses. These tests help to identify your strengths and weaknesses in each subject area. 

This section also has practice tests for ASSET® Preparation in college algebra, elementary algebra, geometry, intermediate algebra, numerical skills, as well as reading, and writing skills. The ASSET® program is a series of short placement tests developed by ACT that lets you and your school work together to help you succeed in your educational program. 

Prepare for the CLEP® Exams

College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams are college-level tests that anyone can take to earn credit toward a college degree. Practice exams in the following subjects are available in College Students Center:

Register for an Account

Everyone needs to register for an account to access LearningExpress Library’s content. Account registration is quick and easy.

Once an account has been created, users can view eBooks and flashcards they’ve downloaded, start and stop any practice test or tutorial, and pick up right where they left off through the My Center feature. They can also download and share their progress.
