Summary
The new NoveList experience will go live on June 16, 2025. There’s nothing you need to do to migrate from the old to the new. Read on to learn about the new features and functionality.
NoveList and NoveList K-8 are fiction recommendation resources with read-alikes, discussion guides, and reading lists, and are available for Wisconsin librarians and residents to use through statewide online resource collection, BadgerLink. The content provider EBSCO will be updating NoveList and NoveList K-8 with a new look to the interface on June 16, 2025. The new NoveList was intentionally designed for everyone to have an accessible, mobile-friendly experience.
Just a few things to know ahead of time of the update on June 16:
- Local holdings will migrate automatically. If you’re an admin of your library’s account and you have any questions about local holdings, you can contact EBSCO at novelist@ebsco.com.
- Most folders, saved searches, and saved records will migrate automatically. If you’re one of the few who have custom folders, read the Help page (EBSCO Connect article) to find out how to migrate them.
- Stay up to date with the NoveList Transition Center (EBSCO Connect article).
This is a great opportunity to relaunch NoveList to your community. The NoveList Jump Start Guide (EBSCO Connect article) will help you and your readers quickly and easily find your way around the new NoveList experience. Find ready-made promotional materials to spread the word about the new NoveList on the Promo Kit page (EBSCO Connect article). There's a video (YouTube) you can share with your community of readers, as well as flyers and bookmarks, talking points, and more.
