NoveList’s Home Page Updates

Summary

BadgerLink resources NoveList and NoveList K-8 have a new look and features as of June 2025. A new BadgerLink training video reviews three new sections of NoveList’s home page and the role each can provide to readers’ advisory.

Brand new BadgerLink training video reviews how to use NoveList and NoveList K-8 to provide readers’ advisory in the following true-to-life scenarios as a librarian. What do you do when:

  • A reader asks you for a book that they heard about in the media or a celebrity’s book club pick?
  • You want to create a quick book display or reading list?
  • Trying to help a reader find a book based on their tastes, mood, and preferences?
  • A patron wants to keep up with new series titles, or isn’t sure what book in a series to read next?

Check out this ~10 minute video for the answers (hint: All found in NoveList and NoveList K-8!) on the BadgerLink Training page at badgerlink.dpi.wi.gov/training/novelist-and-novelist-k-8-updates-home-page.
