Britannica Resource Link Changes

Summary

Because of streamlining and navigation improvements, BadgerLink resource links broken out by some Britannica features will be phased out in 2026. Please update your resource links accordingly. Most recently, Britannica Moderna content is now available in Britannica Escolar's new Preparatoria level. 

Britannica Education has made additional improvements to their Britannica School and Escolar products, making navigation and locating content easier. Because of these improvements, eight of the existing links to Britannica content are no longer necessary. These links will temporarily redirect through mid-August 2026, after which they will be deleted and will no longer work. Users are not losing access to any content! The only thing changing is the links.

At any time before mid-August, remove links on your website, documents, or other learning technologies like ClassLink, Clever, or Destiny and make any needed updates.

  1. Britannica Moderna: Included in Escolar as the Preparatoria level. Remove Moderna and replace with Escolar.
  2. Britannica Fundamentals: Included within Britannica School Early Elementary. Remove Fundamentals and replace with Early Elementary.
  3. Britannica School Elementary Atlas: Included within Britannica School Elementary. Remove Atlas and replace with Britannica School Elementary.
  4. Britannica School Elementary Images & Videos: Included within Britannica School Elementary. Remove Images & Videos and replace with Britannica School Elementary.
  5. Britannica School Middle Atlas: Included within Britannica School Middle. Remove Atlas and replace with Britannica School Middle.
  6. Britannica School Middle Images & Videos: Included within Britannica School Middle. Remove Images & Videos and replace with Britannica School Middle.
  7. Britannica School High Atlas: Included within Britannica School High. Remove Atlas and replace with Britannica School High.
  8. Britannica School High Images & Videos: Included within Britannica School High. Remove Images & Videos and replace with Britannica School High.
