Check out this resource for author interviews, lesson plans & interactive activities, discussion guides, and more to support literacy instruction. This resource is primarily for school libraries, but public libraries can find the same great content for their young library users in TeachingBooks for Libraries.
Literary Calendar
The TeachingBooks Literary Calendar is a great tool to use for planning your back-to-school days! Easily find the birthdays of your favorite authors and illustrators or incorporate book resources into cultural heritage months and national recognition days like International Day of Sign Languages (September 23) and Indigenous Peoples' Day (October 12). Click on any of the events in the calendar to access related titles and resources.
