Thursday, September 16, 2021

In celebration of heading back to school, BadgerLink Bulletin is highlighting BadgerLink resources especially for our K-12 students and educators.

Resource Basics

Explora is EBSCO’s search interface for K-12 resources. Search across multiple resources based on grade level:

  • Explora for Elementary Schools searches American Heritage® Children's Dictionary, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, and Primary Search.

  • Explora for Middle & High Schools searches Advanced Placement Source, Consumer Health Complete, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, GreenFILE, Health Source: Consumer Edition, History Reference Center, Literary Reference Center Plus, MAS Complete, MasterFILE Complete, Middle Search Plus, Newspaper Source Plus, and Science Reference Center.

From each home page, browse popular research topics of varying complexity. Students can narrow search results by helpful limiters such as scholarly journals, source type, or publication year. Full-text articles are searchable by reading level indicator (Lexile).
