Welcome! These sections contain everything you may need for selecting and adding BadgerLink resources to your website or learning technologies, requesting promotional materials for your library, locating or arranging training, and finding support. Written for those new to the library field in Wisconsin, or anyone wanting to double check or enhance their setup and understanding. BadgerLink is a collection of over 60 unique databases and other electronic resources that span the educational and personal interest needs of all ages. Wisconsin residents may access the collection, whether its through their school, public library, or directly on the BadgerLink website.
- Access and Set-Up Information
IP Address Registration and Remote Login
When users are onsite at your library/school, the resource links will provide automatic access if your external (public) IP address(es) are registered with us. Registered IP addresses are also used to track usage for your library. Note, proxy server IP addresses should also be sent for registration - see Learning Technology Integration section for more details on setting up proxy server access.
When users are at locations outside of your library/school, the resource links will automatically prompt for a login.
BadgerLink Resource Links & Logos
Unless your library is using a separate learning technology, ensure correct access on your website with these resource links. The file contains a complete listing as well as separate tabs for K12 grade levels and the public library; simply copy and paste the individual resource links to your site. Add the BadgerLink logo if linking to the website instead of directly to a resource.
Learning Technology Integration Instructions
Individual BadgerLink resources may be integrated into many learning technologies, including ClassLink SSO, Clever SSO, Destiny, EZProxy, and MackinVIA. If your technology is not listed, please reach out for assistance.
