“Databases provided through BadgerLink have essential information for students and educators as they conduct research, look for health information, repair vehicles, and more.”
I use BadgerLink resources on a daily basis in my work. TeachingBooks is used to find resources for promoting books and supporting library programming. I use Novelist and Novelist K-8 to help with reader's advisory for my students and colleagues. US Newsstream and the other news sources on BadgerLink keep me and my patrons informed of current events from trusted news sources. Databases provided through BadgerLink have essential information for students and educators as they conduct research, look for health information, repair vehicles, and more. I would not be able to afford all the resources that BadgerLink provides, nor would I be able to meet all the needs of my patrons without this invaluable resource.
The DPI Library Services Team helps make BadgerLink easy to use and provides incredible service. Questions are answered quickly and access is made easy. When I wanted an easy way for my students and staff to access BadgerLink from home, the staff created an easy way to log in and provided me with instructions I could easily share. Direct links are made available that we can use on our district website and Learning Management Systems and we have access to updates to those links in real time. In addition, Resource Guides, bookmarks, and posters are provided to make it easy for me to share resources that my patrons will find most useful. Jen Champoux is often in attendance at virtual networking meetings to provide information and short presentations about BadgerLink and she offers further training through webinars and conference sessions. The support provided for BadgerLink is top notch!
